Getting to the ceremony
The ceremony will take place in the assembly hall at Grundtvigs Højskole. Please use the school’s back entrance, which is marked with the red arrow in the picture, and then follow the signs to the 1st floor. We will, of course, also have friends and family around who will be ready to assist you in finding your way!
If you are arriving by car, you can park at Hillerød Vest Skolen (Teglværksvej 19, 3400 Hillerød), a 5-minute walk from the school.
If you are arriving by taxi, you can be dropped off at the school’s main entrance (Frederiksværksgade 147, 3400 Hillerød). You are also very welcome to walk through the school — from the main entrance, go straight ahead until you see a staircase on your left. Then follow the signs to the assembly hall (foredragssal).
The train (line A) runs between Copenhagen and Hillerød. From Hillerød Station, you can take a bus to Grundtvigs Højskole. Use Rejseplanen to find the best route for you.
Getting to the party
There are parking spaces behind Brede Spisehus, but spaces are limited. It is also possible to park at the Frilandsmuseet, a few hundred metres from the restaurant.
Parking: Frilandsmuseet North Entrance (I.C. Modewegsvej 4, 2800 Kongens Lyngby) or at the restaurant (I.C. Modewegsvej 40, 2800 Kongens Lyngby).
If you have accepted the bus transport from Grundtvigs Højskole to Brede, you will be dropped off at the Frilandsmuseet.
After the party...
The local train stopping next to Brede Spisehus runs until 1. The nearest S-train station is Virum (approximately 2 km away).
Uber or a taxi will be the easiest ways to get home safely once the evening comes to an end.
